Danish engineering, built for sailing

Searine is committed to leading the charge in developing and implementing electric propulsion systems for boats. By harnessing cutting-edge technology, Searine aims to revolutionize marine transportation, making it more sustainable and efficient.

Powering the Future of Sailing

At Searine, we believe the future of sailing is electric. Not because it’s a trend, but because modern sailors deserve a propulsion system designed specifically for the way they sail.

Based in Greve Marina, Denmark, Searine was founded by sailors, engineers and innovators with a shared ambition: to rethink electric propulsion from the ground up.

Over thousands of development hours, countless sea trials and years of real-world testing, we’ve developed an integrated propulsion system that combines electric propulsion, hydrogeneration, intelligent energy management and unmatched manoeuvrability. In 2026, that vision became reality with the launch of Searine M360°.

Our Journey

Six Years in the Making

Every innovation starts with an idea. Ours was to build an electric propulsion system that truly belongs on a sailing yacht—not simply replacing a diesel engine, but rethinking how propulsion should work altogether.

Over six years, our team designed, tested and refined every component of the system. From the first sketches and prototypes to extensive testing onboard sailing yachts, every detail has been developed with one purpose: To create an integrated electric propulsion system built specifically for sailing.

Today, that journey has become Searine M360°. “What began as an idea six years ago has become a reality. Thousands of development hours, countless sea trials and an unwavering belief in electric sailing have led to the launch of Searine M360°.”

Rethinking Propulsion

We didn’t set out to build another electric motor. We set out to rethink propulsion. The transition from diesel to electric isn’t simply about changing the power source. It’s an opportunity to redesign the entire sailing experience.

How propulsion integrates with the yacht.
How energy is stored, managed and regenerated.
How sailors manoeuvre confidently in tight harbours.
And how the entire system can be monitored and controlled from anywhere onboard.

This philosophy became the foundation of Searine M360°—an integrated propulsion system combining electric propulsion, 360° manoeuvrability, hydrogeneration, modular lithium batteries and intelligent system monitoring.

“We didn’t set out to build another electric motor. We set out to rethink how propulsion should work on a modern sailing yacht.”

Danish Roots. Global Reach.

Searine is proudly designed and engineered in Denmark. From our headquarters in Greve Marina, our team of 11 specialists works across engineering, software, battery technology, sales and customer support.

While our roots are Danish, our ambition is global. Through a growing network of trusted partners, dealers and service providers, we develop, produce and support Searine systems for sailors around the world. Together, we’re building a new standard for electric propulsion—combining Danish engineering with local expertise wherever our customers sail.

Powering the Future of Sailing

The future of sailing isn’t just about replacing diesel. It’s about creating a smarter, quieter and more sustainable way to experience life on the water. That’s why we continue to challenge convention, improve every detail and develop technology built specifically for sailors.
