Range depends on several factors, including the number of B48 battery modules installed, your yacht’s size and displacement, wind conditions, current and your speed through the water.
One of the biggest advantages of electric propulsion is its flexibility. In light winds, you can combine sail and motor to maintain a higher average speed in near silence—without diesel fumes, vibration or engine noise.

In practice, many sailors combine sail and electric propulsion. As the sails provide part of the driving force, the motor consumes less energy, allowing the yacht to travel considerably farther on the same battery capacity.

Safety
