Morten Halkier has stepped in as Interim CEO
Morten Halkier joins Searine as Interim CEO, bringing a strong background from the marine industry. Most recently, he was part of the leadership team at the Danish Shipyard 'Jakob Jensens Shipyard'.
He combines solid technical understanding with strong commercial insight and has many years of experience in competitive sailing at a high international level, including participation in the America’s Cup.
Morten’s broad expertise, deep industry knowledge, and passion for sailing make him a key figure in guiding Searine into the future.
Morten says:
“I see great potential in the way Searine combines technical innovation and sustainability, and I’m truly excited to help accelerate the electrification of the sailboat industry.”
Rasmus Sass Bjørch - Battery Engineer
Rasmus joins Searine as a Battery Engineer, bringing more than 20 years of experience in battery design.
He has worked on a wide range of battery systems — from small AGV robots to large-scale energy storage solutions — and has been involved in the early development of electric solutions, making him a true pioneer in the field.
Rasmus is also a passionate sailor. He has been sailing since childhood and has competed in windsurfing races at the highest national level for more than 10 years.
Rasmus says:
"With my experience in battery design and sailing, my goal is to develop Searine’s battery systems to meet the real needs of sailors, while delivering the highest standards in safety, performance, and quality.”
